Pembers Hill Stud Farm

Pembers Hill Stud offers a specialised service in all aspects of equine breeding. Their Defra approved artificial insemination centre is one of the leading centres in equine reproduction in the UK dealing with fresh, chilled and frozen. Pembers Hill Stud will be standing gold Brtish Show Jumping stallion Pall Mall H for the 2011 stud season. The stud has over 18 years of experience in horse breeding and is very proud of their impressive technology and facilities including foaling facilities they have to offer.

Set in the beautiful Hampshire countryside, Pembers Hill Stud offers full boarding facilities including 28 stables and a separate stallion block .There are four foaling boxes with CCTV and two nursery paddocks. Pembers hill has 100 acres of post and rail paddocks, a horse walker and outdoor school which is available for clients to use.

Pembers Hill Stud Farm was founded over 20 years ago by Kevin and Annette Cooper. The stud is now a successful & established family run business specialising in equine reproduction/breeding.

The studs most influential stallion has been Carnaval Drum. Carnaval Drum was awarded The Champion Sire of young horses. Horse and Hound Breeders award and won the British Horse foundation leading producer of young horses for 3 years. Carnaval drums most famous progeny was, Carnavelly, the 1st British bred world champion, whose outstanding performance ensures he is the only horse ever to have won the German Classic at Brehem and the Berlin Grand Prix in 1988. In 2001 his achievements continued by winning the Hickstead Derby Trial, and at Olympia winning the World Cup Qualifier.

The 1999 Festival of Show Jumping saw Carnaval Drum's progeny become the highest placed British bred 5 and 6 year olds in their classes.
Pembers Hill is extremely proud of their breeding success, one of the highlights being the horse and hound fox hunter winner Carnaval Spirit.

Carnaval Drum is at present 29th on the WDFSH Sire Ranking Eventing list 2010.

We now stand the International Show jumping stallion, Murka's Pall Mall, King George V Gold Cup winner ridden by Peter Charles.
